What is Early Intervention? A family-centered program, we target families with children, birth to school age, who are experiencing developmental delays/disorders or who are at risk of having developmental challenges. Early Intervention is part of a team of parents and professionals who work together to design services responding to family identified priorities and needs. Early Intervention helps to provide opportunities for parents to gain knowledge to make informed decisions about their child's learning, development and growth. Early Intervention gives the support required to guide families toward recognizing and understanding the needs and goals of the family and incorporating them into the family’s daily routine.
