About Sackville-Bedford Early Intervention Program Established in 1983, the Sackville-Bedford Early Intervention Program is a registered, non-profit charitable organization committed to providing support, information and education to families during the early years. Our work is based on the philosophy that "Each belongs." We believe that all children should be provided the opportunity to grow alongside their peers. We advocate for the inclusion of all children into the community. We believe that every family deserves the best quality of life possible and that an inclusive community is a healthy community. The early years are the most crucial in terms of learning and developing, and we help families give their children the best possible start in life. Sackville-Bedford Early Intervention Program is part of a larger network of Early Intervention programs throughout Nova Scotia, working in partnership with Early Intervention Nova Scotia.
